Back by popular demand! You all said I need to have another of these workshops, so here you go.
If you've never used a drill, this workshop will introduce you to the basic functions of a drill. You'll learn to make a pilot hole and how to choose the right screw for the job.
You'll take home a handcrafted ottoman with hidden storage.
Please bring 2 meters of fabric to personalise your ottoman. You really need about 1.5 metres, but most shops sell fabric by the metre.
The finished product will measure slightly larger than 50cm x 50cm and 30cm tall.
At this workshop, you can learn these techniques and skills:
The basics of using a drill
Installing hardware - hinges
Using a handsaw
Upholstery
Making pocket holes with the Kreg Jig System
This is a two part workshop. On day one, you’ll create the frame of your ottoman. On day 2, you’ll learn how to upholster and finish your ottoman to take home. We’ll meet on the 25th of March from 6 to 9 pm and then join again the next day, 26th of March from 6 to 9 pm.
To book, type the number of people attending in the ‘Quantity’ field and then click ‘ADD TO CART.’ You should then be directed through the payment process.
